him.her officially opened 6th September 2016 in Whakatane Nz. I had just found out I was a few weeks pregnant with baby girl number 3, I was in shock for a few days & took almost 2 weeks to convince myself this was happening... We had just opened our second dream retail space after whitegold. But also about to endure the hardest pregnancy of them all... I was freaking...

Here we are 10years later & continually growing and being approached by exciting new brands that want to join our journey in retail which is so humbling. so many tears, physical & mental challenges, but after every obstacle we bounce back stronger than ever & take what we can learning & growing constantly.

him.her is 'one of a kind' retail space specialising in Nz & international brands, a few being exclusive in the Bay of Plenty & New Zealand too!!!

him.her website officially launched June 2019 & we were super excited to share with you the latest trends from NZ & international brands, so SUPER proud of the customer base we have grown in such a short time!! thanks again to all those supporting our sweet lil boutique & contributing to it growing into a nationally well-recognised retail shop & brand for the future x.

FAST FORWARD TO 2026
we decided in March 2025 to re-locate him.her to a smaller location that was more flexible + slightly removed from the main street in Whakatane, no pressure to be open 7days + the increasing overheads etc.

we have now signed on to another year in our HHER.STUDIO x.
feedback has been so incredibly positive with our cute styling sessions which you can book for FREE (as long as you walk out with you heart + hands full x.)
